Delinko for Plaintiffs SETTLEMENT FOR PLAINTIFF: $ 1,270,000.00 FACTS: Plaintiff was a passenger in a vehicle, which was involved, in a vehicular accident on the westbound Pomona freeway. Plaintiff was pregnant at the time of the accident. The baby that was born obtained a settlement for the loss of her father who was killed in the accident. BODILY INJURY AND WRONGFUL DEATH Attorney David F. Delinko for Plaintiffs SETTLEMENT FOR PLAINTIFF: $ 855,000.00 FACTS: The defendant’s tractor/trailer driver attempted to make a lane change on the freeway, when it sideswiped Plaintiff’s Mazda, sending it out of control. The Mazda struck the center concrete Jersey wall. Plaintiff’s mother was the right front seat passenger and was killed. The plaintiffs also included the husband of the Descendent and their four children. PREMISES LIABILITY – MOTEL Attorney David F. Delinko for Plaintiffs SETTLEMENT FOR PLAINTIFF: $ 450,000.00 FACTS: Plaintiff was burned in a room at Defendant’s motel when gasoline fumes ignited. PERSONAL INJURY Attorney David F. Delinko for Plaintiffs SETTLEMENT FOR PLAINTIFF: $ 350,000.00 FACTS: Plaintiff was driving a delivery truck and was struck head-on by the Defendant’s tractor. The plaintiff was trapped in his truck and had to be extracted by the “jaws of life.” BICYCLE VS. TRUCK Attorney David F. Delinko for Plaintiffs SETTLEMENT FOR PLAINTIFF: $ 350,000.00 FACTS: Plaintiff’s husband was riding a bicycle in a marked crosswalk. He was killed when he was hit and then run over by the Defendant’s tractor/trailer. TRUCK VS. TRUCK Attorney David F. Delinko for Plaintiffs SETTLEMENT FOR PLAINTIFF: $ 350,000.00 FACTS: Plaintiff was driving a small four-wheel truck. Defendant’s tractor-trailer rig went out of control and struck Plaintiff’s vehicle. It crossed over the centerline and collided with the left front corner of Plaintiff’s vehicle. JOB SITE ACCIDENT Attorney David F. Delinko for Plaintiffs SETTLEMENT FOR PLAINTIFF: $ 300,000.00 FACTS: Plaintiff was assigned to assist outside contractors in the reinstallation of a compressor aftercooler. The aftercooler and separator tipped the forklift forward, throwing the Plaintiff out of the forklift. DOG BITE Attorney David F. Delinko for Plaintiffs SETTLEMENT FOR PLAINTIFF: $ 200,000.00 FACTS: Defendant’s German short-haired pointer attacked the Plaintiff. PREMISES LIABILITY – STORE Attorney David F. Delinko for Plaintiffs SETTLEMENT FOR PLAINTIFF: $ $71,000.00 FACTS: Plaintiff was exiting a main door. The security guard pushed an unidentified man backwards, who bumped into Plaintiff knocking her to the ground. |
